Job Summary

The Online Skincare Advisor will be a virtual consultant, providing expert guidance and personalized skincare recommendations to our diverse clientele. You will bridge our brand and customers, offering a seamless and professional digital experience that enhances customer satisfaction and loyalty. This position requires a passion for skincare, a strong understanding of skincare science, and the ability to build meaningful connections with customers in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Customer Consultation and Support:
    • Conduct virtual consultations via video, chat, or email to assess customers’ skincare needs and goals.
    • Offer personalized product recommendations based on individual skin types, concerns, and lifestyle factors.
    • Address customer inquiries, providing accurate and friendly responses to build trust and rapport.
  2. Skincare Expertise and Education:
    • Stay updated on the latest skincare trends, ingredients, and best practices to provide informed and relevant advice.
    • Educate customers on proper skincare routines, product usage, and the benefits of Blossom Beauty Care products.
    • Create engaging and educational content, such as skincare tips, FAQs, and how-to guides for marketing and customer support initiatives.
  3. Product Promotion and Sales:
    • Highlight the unique features and benefits of Blossom Beauty Care’s products to encourage informed purchasing decisions.
    • Upsell and cross-sell complementary products to enhance customer outcomes and drive sales.
    • Meet individual and team sales goals while maintaining a customer-first approach.
  4. Customer Relationship Management:
    • Build lasting relationships with customers by providing exceptional service and follow-up support.
    • Maintain detailed customer records to track preferences, purchase history, and consultation notes for personalized future interactions.
    • Proactively reach out to customers with tailored recommendations, special offers, and updates on new products.
  5. Collaboration and Teamwork:
    • Work closely with the marketing team to align on promotional campaigns, product launches, and customer engagement strategies.
    • Provide feedback to product development teams based on customer insights and trends.
    • Collaborate with fellow advisors to share best practices and refine consultation techniques.
  6. Digital Tools and Platforms:
    • Utilize CRM software, video conferencing tools, and other digital platforms to manage customer interactions effectively.
    • Leverage analytics to monitor performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience in skincare consulting, beauty advising, or a related role (minimum 2 years).
  • Strong knowledge of skincare products, ingredients, and routines for different skin types and concerns.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts quickly.
  • Sales acumen with a customer-focused mindset and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Tech-savvy and proficient in digital communication tools, CRM systems, and e-commerce platforms.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Certification or training in dermatology, cosmetology, or a related field is a plus.
