About candidate

About you
I was born and raised in Cuba and migrated to the US 10 years ago when I was 15 years old. I am fully bilingual, being perfectly able to communicate in English and Spanish. I have been involved in the mental health and psychology field my entire life since many members of my family work in that field, some as psychologist, psychiatrist, or behavioral analysts. I am extremely passionate about helping others achieve the best version of themselves in life while enjoying a healthy mind and body without being tied to diagnoses or health insurances. I would like to be there for others just like others have been there for me.
What are you looking for in a new role?
I am looking for a role as life coach were I can help others grow and be the better version of themselves. Although I have a Master's degree in psychology, I would like to try different approaches in helping other that do not require labeling or following health insurances' requests. While doing this job I will be continuing my education and knowledge since my goal is to open my own practice as a Doctor in Clinical Psychology.
What you are interested in working with us?
I found about this company through a blog and the idea of linking beauty and coaching fascinated me, so I thought, why not give it a try? I'm open to meeting new people and helping them in any possible way I can, creating achievable goals with steps personalized for each individual and their situation.
What has been most challenging experience in a past role?
My past role or job was as a TCM or Case Manager were I would aid a population of mentally ill and mainly elderly clients achieve goals and acquire the medical, social, economical, and physical needs they might need. The most challenging part of this job was to get people who are older them myself to trust me and follow my guidance. When people encounter professionals my age, who are half their age, they are very weary or unsure at first but surely with much love, empathy, and compassion, I was able to win their hearts and trust and was able to successfully provide them the help they needed.

Cover latter

I hold a Master of Science in Psychology and have professional experience as a Targeted Case Manager and Registered Behavior Technician, supporting individuals with complex mental health and behavioral needs across clinical and community-based settings.

In my role as a Targeted Case Manager with Universal Community Services, I provided comprehensive case management services to adults with severe mental health conditions. My responsibilities included conducting needs assessments, developing and monitoring individualized service plans, coordinating medical, psychiatric, housing, and social services, and maintaining detailed, compliant documentation. This role strengthened my ability to navigate multidisciplinary systems, advocate for clients, and ensure continuity of care while meeting agency and state standards.

In addition, my experience as a Registered Behavior Technician and psychology testing intern has allowed me to work directly within behavioral and assessment-driven environments. I have implemented behavior intervention plans under supervision, collected and analyzed session data, assisted with psychological testing materials, and supported comprehensive developmental evaluations. My background as a psychiatric medical assistant and scribe further reinforced my skills in biopsychosocial assessments, treatment planning, and accurate clinical documentation within fast-paced medical settings.

I am bilingual in English and Spanish and bring strong cultural competence, adaptability, and professionalism to my work. I am highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to ethical, client-centered practice.
