My early career spans various healthcare roles, from working the front desk at a hematology and oncology clinic to analyzing medical research data for computational genomics studies. My passion for enhancing others' well-being and my personal experience with skin sensitivities eventually led me to pursue a career in esthetics. I’m a Licensed Esthetician with additional holistic, integrative, multicultural skin, oncology, laser, and sugar hair removal certifications. I am also a Certified Energy Worker, Certified Sound Healer, Certified Pelvic Floor Integration Facilitator, and is enrolled in a foundational herbalism certification program. I have worked in a medical spa for nearly a decade integrating both standard medical and holistic clinical treatments and am now the owner of Lo Naturals Holistic Wellness & Beauty, owner of Prosperous Healer Academy, and a sugar hair removal trainer.
My uniquely diverse career and background of knowledge has given me an appreciation for attention to details and developing individualized healing journey plans which I’ve been able to apply in creating holistic, customized treatments for skin care, sugar hair removal, and wellness that blend science, energy, and spirituality. What are you looking for in a new role?
I'm looking to commute less and have more flexibility. So I'm looking for a new role that has remote work capability and flexibility in scheduling. I still want to be able to help clients reach not only their skin care goals but overall wellness goals as well. I want to utilize my holistic and integrative skills in order to do that. I would also like to have the ability to reach people in other locations and various backgrounds.

What has been most challenging experience in a past role?
A previous work place had management and ownership that made work more difficult. There was a lot of disorganization, tension, and stress that began at the top and worked its way down. I would come in early to check everything I needed for the day and my schedule to make sure my day would be organized. I also started a practice amongst my coworkers where we would start the day by voicing 1 positive thing, repeating that at lunch, and repeating 1 more time at closing. This practice helped us to not focus on the negative energy we would often walk into and maintain a positive environment for ourselves and our clients.

I am writing to apply for the Remote At-Home Spa Consultant position. I am most interested in a part-time position but am open to a full-time position. As an accomplished individual with outstanding academic training and a growing professional background, I am seeking a new opportunity of growth with your company. I’m looking to join a company with a more integrative approach to wellness that combines holistic care with modern technology. Help with achieving skin care and wellness goals are more accessible to clients now with the capabilities of tools like AI. I’ve always enjoyed helping my family and friends decide what skin care regimens to follow to achieve healthier skin, and whenever I’m researching ingredients or products, it doesn’t feel like work because I truly enjoy it. My background is originally as an analyst of medical research data which focused on personalized care and treatments, and this has remained my approach after taking the leap to change careers and work in esthetics.
It is fulfilling to help someone look better in his/her eyes and do it in a healthy yet effective way and increase their confidence. This is a major motivation for me to continually increase my knowledge and skill set to provide the best care possible. I’ve been working in esthetics for almost 10 years now. I am in pursuit of a position that will not only offer the chance to do what I love and help people of various backgrounds, but also learn new techniques and products that provide results and meet clients where they are in both their health journey and physical location. I truly enjoy educating and helping others, especially when it comes to skin care and wellness. I am confident my abilities and work experience will be a great asset.
