About you
I have been doing hair for just over 16 years. I have lived in the beauty Industry for as long as I can remember! I have worked at many different beauty supply stores such as Salon Centric, CosmoProf, Sally Beauty and Salon Only Sales. I currently work at Sally Beauty as part of their virtual licensed colorist program where we offer consults for customers helping them DIY their own hair. I love this industry and have had training in skincare as well as attended school to be an educator as well.
What are you looking for in a new role?
I am currently seeking a new role because the current hours are not fitting in with my schedule and are making it hard to unwind and de-stress after a long day. Looking for more flexible hours.
What you are interested in working with us?
Beauty is my passion, and it seems like we align on that! I love everything skincare, makeup, hair, nails, etc. I know what it's like for people to feel lost when it comes to any of those categories. I enjoy assisting and helping them feel beautiful and making sure they are confident in doing their hair/skincare themselves. We want everyone to feel beautiful and sometimes that means helping others achieve that feeling when they do their hair on their own and can't afford going into the salon.
What has been most challenging experience in a past role?
The most challenging thing for me in my current role would be the people who call in for help but are leery of taking our advice. I just try to reassure them that I do know what I am doing and I am only looking to help them achieve their goals in the easiest way possible for them.
