About you
I am a skilled and enthusiastic individual with a bachelors degree in pharmacy and two professional masters degrees. one in Cosmetic Science and Technology and the other in Aesthetic Medicine for Pharmacists. I am passionate about helping people care for their skin and get their confidence back. I have 3 years experience in retail pharmacy where I am hands on meeting with clients one on one, discussing their skin concerns and coming up with a tailored routine just for them. My pharmaceutical expertise comes hand in hand as I educate my clients on how certain drugs interact with the skin, mechanism of action and adverse effects.
What are you looking for in a new role?
I am looking to further my career, expand my reach, learn as much as I can and be a part of a community with like minded individuals. I would like to help as many people as I can understand their skin, understand the ingredients they are using and love their skin despite its flaws. I would like to form connections with other experts and learn from them. A new role will help me get out of my comfort zone and embrace new exciting challenges, as well as be a part of something bigger than myself.

What has been most challenging experience in a past role?
with the growth of social media skincare trends and misinformation, busting the myths and correcting the misinformation as an authority in the field, has proven challenging in many instances. I have found myself counseling clients on these topics a number of times to raise awareness. Another challenge I have experienced would be sourcing for affordable skincare and haircare products for my clients, especially in this current times. Skincare can be expensive, especially the good quality ones, so this demotivates the clients and they end up compromising on quality.
