About candidate

About you
I bring over four years of hands-on
experience in the Applied Behavior Analysis
(ABA) field, beginning my career as a
Registered Behavior Technician and
advancing to the role of Program
Coordinator. Throughout this time, I have
worked extensively with individuals aged 2
to 22, specializing in high-magnitude crisis
level behaviors as well as supporting clients
who are nonverbal or experience significant
speech delays. Over the past two years, my
focus has been on transitioning and
integrating school-aged children who engage
in frequent crisis behaviors into structured
educational environments (special and
general education classroom), particularly at
the elementary and intermediate levels. I
have also developed specialized experience
working with adolescent male and female
clients, tailoring behavior intervention plans
to meet their unique developmental and
emotional needs. I was born and raised on the southside of
Indianapolis and attended Center Grove High
School, where I was actively involved in
show choir, the swim team, and 4-H. I have a
deep appreciation for travel and enjoy
immersing myself in diverse cultures and
new experiences. I also love spending time
outdoors, whether it’s kayaking, horseback
riding, exploring new places, or simply
enjoying nature. Known for my laid-back
personality, I’m always open to trying
something new. I’m also a proud animal lover
and “fur mom” to two cats and a playful
puppy!
What are you looking for in a new role?
I am seeking a new role where I can apply my background in behavior modification within a life coaching framework. Through my work with youth, I have developed a strong foundation in understanding behavior, motivation, and skill development; however, my long-standing passion has been supporting adults in meaningful, sustainable change. I am especially interested in teaching adults how principles of behavior modification can be integrated into self-care routines, goal setting, and daily habits to improve overall well-being. I believe behavior change, when taught in an empowering and practical way, has the ability to reshape lives, and I am motivated to help individuals recognize and use these tools to create lasting personal growth.
What you are interested in working with us?
I am particularly drawn to this role with Blossom Beauty because it aligns seamlessly with my passion for teaching meaningful routines while working within the beauty and wellness space. I believe beauty extends beyond products—it is deeply connected to daily habits, self-care practices, and the behaviors we consistently reinforce. With my background in behavior modification, I am motivated to help individuals build intentional routines that support confidence, wellness, and long-term self-investment. Blossom Beauty represents a unique opportunity to merge evidence-based behavior change with the beauty industry, empowering individuals to use self-care not just as a luxury, but as a tool for personal growth and well-being.
What has been most challenging experience in a past role?
he most challenging aspect of being a behavior coach in a middle school setting has been navigating limited teacher buy-in alongside a lack of resources. Teachers are often managing large class sizes, competing academic demands, and high levels of stress, which can make it difficult to consistently implement behavior supports, even when they are effective. At times, behavior intervention is viewed as an added responsibility rather than a tool to support classroom success. Additionally, limited staffing, time constraints, and access to materials can restrict how proactively behavior strategies are implemented, often shifting efforts toward reactive responses instead of preventative ones. This experience has reinforced the importance of collaboration, clear communication, and designing strategies that are realistic, sustainable, and respectful of the demands placed on educators.

I am writing to express my interest in working for your company. I am a master level behavior specialist and am actively pursuing BCBA certification, with experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities and neurodevelopmental disorders across school, home, residential, community, and clinical settings. My long term goal is to practice as a BCBA in inpatient and residential environments serving individuals with complex behavioral needs to provide educational opportunities and strategies to a wide variety of individuals.

Currently, I work as a Behavior Specialist with Shelbyville Central Schools, where I develop and implement behavior intervention strategies, provide consultation on complex cases, and support students with significant social-emotional and behavioral challenges. I develop individualized learning strategies for comprehension and academic success. I also serve as a Behavior Consultant with Achieve Behavior Alliance Plus, providing assessment, treatment planning, data analysis, and medicaid-compliant documentation for children and adults with developmental disabilities and in the home and community settings.

Previously, I worked as an RBT and BCBA supervision student at Applied Behavior Center for Autism, where I conducted ABA assessments, developed and revised treatment plans for high intensity behaviors, supervised staff, and collaborated with families as well as multidisciplinary teams. I have training and experience implementing crisis management, PCM, and supporting individuals with significant behavioral and clinical needs.

I hold a Masters of Science in Psychology with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis, and a Bachelors of Science in Psychology. I am drawn to inpatient and residential work due to the opportunity for interdisciplinary collaboration, intensive support, and meaningful behavior change during critical periods of care.

Thank you for your time and consideration. I hope to get the opportunity to discuss how my experience and professional goals align with your program.
