When I first started providing advanced skincare treatments, I encountered clients who had been exposed to heavily filtered social media content and expected their skin to be completely transformed after a single session or product application. My task was to bridge this gap by establishing realistic timelines and educating the client without diminishing their excitement or trust in my expertise. I implemented a more consultative and educational approach rooted in my medical background. Instead of simply recommending a product, I would first spend extra time explaining the underlying physiology of their skin concern and how the treatment or product worked at a cellular level. I created a personalized, multi-step plan with clear milestones and emphasized that consistency was key.
