Position Overview:

The Online Beauty Brand Strategist will develop and execute comprehensive digital strategies that drive Blossom Beauty Care's growth in the competitive online beauty space. This remote position requires a blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and data-driven decision-making to enhance the brand’s online presence, engage customers, and ultimately increase sales. As part of the marketing team, you will play a key role in creating campaigns, building brand awareness, and growing our loyal customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Brand Strategy Development:
    • Design and implement digital brand strategies to increase Blossom Beauty Care’s visibility and market share across various online platforms (e-commerce, social media, email marketing, etc.).
    • Develop a consistent brand message that aligns with our inclusivity, sustainability, and quality values and effectively communicate these to our target audience.
    • Analyze competitor brands and trends in the beauty industry to identify opportunities for differentiation and growth.
  2. Digital Marketing Campaigns:
    • Planned, executed, and optimized paid and organic digital marketing campaigns on platforms such as Google Ads, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and influencer networks.
    • Collaborate with content creators, influencers, and affiliate marketers to generate content that resonates with the brand’s target audience.
    • Monitor campaign performance, track KPIs, and adjust strategies to meet or exceed set objectives.
  3. E-commerce and Website Optimization:
    • Oversee the e-commerce platform to ensure an excellent customer journey from product discovery to purchase, driving conversion rates and average order value.
    • Work closely with the web development team to ensure the website is user-friendly, visually appealing, and optimized for SEO.
    • Improve product listings, content, and imagery to enhance product appeal and customer experience.
  4. Social Media and Content Strategy:
    • Create and execute engaging content strategies for social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube, that highlight the brand’s products, values, and community.
    • Lead social media campaigns that promote new product launches, limited-time offers, and seasonal promotions.
    • Foster community engagement by responding to comments, managing interactions, and creating meaningful dialogues with our audience.
  5. Analytics and Reporting:
    • Utilize analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics, and social media insights to measure campaign performance and website traffic.
    • Regularly report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of brand strategies and campaigns.
    • Make data-driven decisions to optimize strategies for better ROI, growth, and customer retention.
  6. Collaborative Teamwork:
    • Work closely with the product development, graphic design, and sales teams to ensure consistent messaging and strategy alignment across all marketing channels.
    • Provide insights and recommendations to improve product packaging, promotional materials, and other marketing assets.
    • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute to the creative process for new product launches, special offers, and collaborations.
  7. Customer Insights and Market Research:
    • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and behaviors within the beauty industry.
    • Use customer feedback, surveys, and online reviews to gather insights influencing future product and marketing decisions.
    • Develop customer personas better to tailor campaigns and product offerings to specific segments.
  8. Brand Partnerships and Influencer Relations:
    • Identify and build relationships with beauty influencers, bloggers, and digital creators to promote Blossom Beauty Care’s products.
    • Negotiate and manage influencer contracts, collaborations, and promotional schedules.
    • Ensure brand alignment with influencers to maintain authenticity and credibility in all partnerships.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in brand strategy, digital marketing, or a similar role within the beauty or fashion industry.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, SEO, SEM, etc.) and analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, etc.).
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and growing e-commerce businesses and brands, particularly in the beauty sector.
  • Proficient in content creation and social media management, with experience in influencer collaborations and partnerships.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently remotely while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong creative and analytical skills with a data-driven mindset.
  • Knowledge of the beauty industry trends, products, and consumer behavior.
  • Experience with Shopify or other e-commerce platforms is a plus.
